Pressure calibration is the process of comparing the output of a device that measures pressure with a reference pressure measurement standard. If the pressure management device under calibration doesn’t match the reference value, it must be calibrated to match the desired measuring accuracy.

How does a Pressure Calibrator work?
The pressure calibrator must have higher accuracy than the pressure device under calibration (DUC) and must also be traceable to international standards. Pressure calibration involves the observation of values of the DUC throughout the entire range, intermediate value and full scale value and its comparison to the output of the precision device.
The importance of pressure calibration
